Some of the works so far

Here are some photos of most of the work so far.   A lot of the paintings are still in progress, but definitely coming along.
Everyone has been busy putting in long hours and making a lot of progress.  It is very interesting to be able to see all of the work come together and every artist's process.

Meeting with Denyse Menard-Greenidge

Yesterday we were very lucky to have artist/curator/critic/art consultant Denyse Menard-Greenidge come visit us at Kent House.

She had small individual meetings/critiques with each artist and offered excellent feedback.  Her input was very valuable in the final stretch before our exhibition.

She also discussed the difference between Francophone and Anglophone Canadian University art programs as she has experience with both- which was particularly interesting to the Canadian artists.

We also discussed the differences in Canadian and Barbadian schools and art programs.

It was a very insightful visit.

more work in progress

Everyone is settled into a working space, and putting in long hours working towards getting the work ready to show by the end of the week.
There are paintings in progress, drying, and being completed in every inch of the house.

Below are some more images of the artists working/progress of the works.

Proper documentation of work to follow.
